Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Kansas Overstock  We strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we’re here to help.

We would like to kindly remind you to review our return policy and work with us for a possible solution first if you encounter any issues instead of initiating an order dispute in a rush.

We highly recommend you to read necessary information, includingand carefully to make sure the custom-made drapes will fit your needs. We sincerely wish you to order sample booklet or swatches before ordering customized drapes to ensure texture, color meet your expectation. For customized drapes, roman shades, and blinds, we usually will not accept returns. 

Before placing your return, please check if your item is eligible for return, as some items may be featured as Final Sale or No Return or subject to additional return restrictions. You can find this information in the item specific sections below, so you may review it before making your purchase.

1. Can I Return ?

  • Fabric swatches and sample booklets are not returnable.
  • Drapes and shade are made to measure products, we can't accept return if products are made matching your original order details. 
  • Hardware and Ready-Made Curtains are accepted returns.
    Please Note: All Drapeful drapes and shades are made to order. You may cancel your order within 48 hours of placing it for a full refund.
    If you wish to cancel your order after 48 hours, a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund, as production will have already begun.

2. No-Returnable Item

The following conditions do not qualify for return for Ready-Made or Made-to-Order drapes, blinds and shades

  • Misunderstood the image of the product.
  • Items do not fit properly but were made accurately. 
  • Drapes are too heavy.
  • Not the color you wanted.
  • Change of mind / No longer wants it.
  • Not the quality you wanted.
  • Ordered the wrong item by mistake. 
  • Wrong size. Tolerance size within +/- 1 inch is treated as industry acceptable. The width of the drapery will be 1-3 inches wider than the purchased width to prevent light leakage at the hem due to gravity hanging.
  • Order come later than expected.
  • Item were ordered by mistake.
  • Incorrect measurement.
  • Color variation due to fabric dye lot that naturally occurs (reasonable color differences are allowed between the sample  booklets and the finished drapery).
  • Color variation due to adding a liner (compare lined drapes vs unlined).
  • Color variation due to adding different liners to the same color curtain.
  • Shading rate is not expected.
  • Special items do not support returns or exchanges: Clearance

3Returnable

In some special circumstances, we accept return. If you believe there is something wrong with your product, contact us straightaway with full details of the problem - feel free to send a photo to illustrate the problem by email, quoting your order number. We will of course repair or remake the product to match the original order as quickly as possible, so you will be inconvenienced as little as possible. We will request that the original drapes and shade are returned to us.

Hardwares and Ready-Made that can be returned or refunded within 30 days of receiving must meet both of the following conditions:

  • Faulty items damaged/broken or in the incorrect size/color upon arrival.
  • Items are unused, drapery with tags and unaltered.

4. Right of Withdrawal

Upon delivery of the Goods, you will promptly examine them. If any of the goods ordered have been damaged in transit or have been incorrectly shipped or are defective through faulty material or factory workmanship. You must notify us by writing to us through email at contact@drapeful.com within 90 days from the date of delivery of the relevant goods.

Please Note: You will be deemed to have accepted such Goods if you fail to notify us within such period. 

5Return & Exchange Conditions

Items returned without authorization will not be accepted.

Items must be returned within 90 days after you receive them. All items must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. When returning or exchanging items, customers must use a shipping method providing tracking information.

6General Return Process

Initiate a return:

Please email us at contact@drapeful.com with photos and/or videos of the items and let us know your order number.

Our customer service staff will determine the eligibility of your return request within 3 business days.

Ship the item back:

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the return address and instructions on how and where to send your package.

Please Note: Items returned without authorization will not be accepted. We recommend that you send your return/exchange in a shipping method providing tracking information as well as a signature because we will not be responsible for lost return/exchange.

7Refund Limit

Once returned items were received, we will inspect to ensure in brand-new condition, unused and with original tags and packaging. Then we will either (at our discretion) offer a full refund for the price of the product, or repair or replace the product (we will notify you by e-mail of the action we will take). If you meet our return criteria and provide the above-mentioned product defect photos and shipping label, then we will provide a refund for the full cost of your purchase of this order immediately after we receive and confirm the return package, which will be returned to your original payment method within 3-10 days.

  • Prior purchases are not eligible for price adjustments.
  • Prior purchases are not eligible for discount refunds.
  • We don't offer refund to lost packages but we will send the replacement instead.
  • We do not provide refunds or reshipments for packages that have been signed for with proof of receipt.

8Exchange

For damaged or broken items, we accept exchange only.
Please cantact us via email: contact@drapeful.com at once within 3 days of receipt, and keep all the packaging (outer and inner packaging) and provide us with the photos of the packaging and products to apply for an exchange. We will arrange an exchange for you after confirmation.

9Return Shipping Fees

Depending on the reason for return, once your return is approved, you may be responsible for return shipping costs. We will refund you the products cost when we receive the returns.

  • Refunds due to our mistakes: You will receive a full refund.
  • Refunds requested by customers due to personal reasons (only for returnable items): Refunded products cost = Order amount - (Handling + Packing +Shipping Fee), that account for 10% of order amount. Finally you get refund amount, 90% of order amount.

10Refunds

Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks for return processing. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If you paid by credit or debit card, we’d process a refund to the same card originally used to place and pay for the order once we receive your return. Please allow approximately 5-7 business days to credit back to your original form of payment.

If you paid using PayPal or Apple Pay, we’d process a refund to your PayPal account or your Apple Pay account originally used to place and pay for the order once we receive your return. Please allow approximately 1-3 business days to credit back to your original form of payment.

11Alterations

Normally, we don't accept alterations after you receiving the orders, so please pay addtional attention to your measurement and size decision-making.

12Please Note

The pictures of color-difference: Products may be different from the actual color under the influence of light, color temperature, and display parameters. Please take the real object as the standard. Thanks for your comprehension.
